How to make signage readable ??

Signage is expensive, and we wouldn’t want to get an ineffective sign made. The biggest cause of signs being ineffective is due to the size of the text being TOO small. Please find the the information to get the most out of your sign.

The recommended minimum sizes are as follow. For a pictogram and worded sign in a factory or work environment, where lighting is good, where the sign is mounted in a prominent position:

  1. Picture Symbol size is to be at least 15mm per metre of viewing distance.
  2. Text size:
    • Upper case: 5mm per metre of viewing distance.
    • Lower case: 4mm per metre of viewing distance.

The less light you have, the larger the size has to be!

We have Several Years of experience. You always get the Best.
